Chemical kinetics examines how fast chemical reactions happen and what factors affect them (like structure, properties, concentration, temperature, catalysts, and radiation). Understanding how these factors change the reaction rate helps optimize production and scientific research. By studying chemical kinetics, we learn how to adjust reaction conditions to control the rate and get the desired products. In many industrial reactions, tweaking conditions can boost yields by speeding up reactions. In other cases, like metal corrosion, food spoilage, plastic degradation, and aging processes, slowing down reactions is the goal.
Features
A high-pressure continuous syringe pump helps keep the liquid supply stable.
The microchannel reactor can be easily connected and disconnected, and you can choose reactors with different sizes based on the type of reaction.
By combining a microchannel mixer with a tube reactor, you can achieve continuous reactions. Using a multi-way valve switch allows you to select reactors with varying liquid capacities and swiftly produce target products.
There's also a 6-slot automatic sample collector to gather samples under different reaction conditions and then analyze them further with analytical devices.
The software automatically calculates kinetic parameters based on reaction time and product conversion rate.
